May 2024! Time for a change. After 16+ years of staging original plays and shows, Dangerous Theatre is moving on from producing shows specifically in Denver at a singular venue to focusing on producing shows to take on the road to Fringe Festivals and other venues in Colorado. The space at 2620 W 2nd Ave remains as the Play Ground for Playwrights & Performers. Winnie has also expanded into the space next door and created The Annex Community Classroom. These new spaces hope to foster the growth of playwrights and performers to expand their talents, share knowledge and spread their wings. Currently, we offer Improv Shenanigans every Tuesday at 7:30 in The Annex, a free drop in Improv Workshop. Every 1st Sunday is Limit Breaker at the Play Ground, our potluck social and open mike that offers a brave space for anyone who wants to take the stage. Coming in June is the Monologue Mosh Pit and the Play Producers Boot Camp. Details for those events to be posted soon!
