Summer Improv

Shack Over There Productions, who brought you “Redneck Romeo and Juliet” (“The most I’ve ever laughed at any Shakespeare-ish production." – John Moore, Denver Post) is proud to present their new Shakespeare twist, “Much Ado About Nothing:  The Hip-Hop Remix.”

In this completely improvised modern day and modern language adaptation, instead of victorious soldiers coming home to stay at a friend’s mansion, a rap group returns from a successful tour to stay at their producer’s Beverly Hills mansion.  And the mayhem begins.

This play about trash-talking, deception and love features members of the rapping improv group, “Superbaby”, as well as other great Denver improvisers from “Redneck Romeo and Juliet.”

Shack Over There’s 2011 Ovation-nominated Chris Woolf (Supporting Actor in a Comedy for Mercutio in “Redneck Romeo and Juliet”) will be the Director, with the assistance of Paul Cross, Shack Over There Co-Producer.

“Redneck Romeo and Juliet” sold out every performance at Dangerous, so get your tickets early!
