Denver's Dangerous Theatre is proud to once again host this special event!

The Colorado Danse of Life has taken place for the past 4 years in September in celebration of the Fall Equinox.

This year we have decided to add another Danse for the Spring Equinox. This March the event takes place on Sunday, March 21st!

The Danse of Life is a Hook & Energy Pull that follows in the tradition of ancient rituals where self inflicted pain and drumming puts the participant in an altered state of consciousness or trance state. Participants either have hooks inserted into the flesh or bells, balls or limes hung from the skin to beat against the body while dansing. Those wishing to attend and not be pierced may do so as Ritual Dansers.

The Colorado Danse of Life has a skilled and dedicated team of piercers. We also can boast a LIVE corp of drummers to provide the heartbeat for the danse.

We also have a special guest piercer at this Danse. Elwood will be visiting from Vancouver, BC,Canada for this event.  He and Trent will be doing full hook suspensions at this event.  Elwood is a Master of Body Modification and Performance Art.  He is also going to be offering a class on cutting on Saturday, 3/20.
